  • 10 years of experience as an assistant and apprentice under Paul Griesbach, a respected Maine home inspector

  • Trained by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI)

  • Continuing education through the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council, InterNACHI, and other professional organizations

Experience

In addition to performing hundreds of home inspections across Maine, I have hands-on experience with residential construction and renovation, both professionally and as a homeowner.

I grew up in an older home and later owned one myself, giving me firsthand understanding of how houses age, how they’re repaired, and what long-term maintenance really looks like. That background helps me recognize not only defects but also the craftsmanship and details that make a well-built home stand the test of time.

Each inspection is performed with the goal of helping clients avoid costly or unexpected surprises. I focus on identifying problems early, explaining what I see, and putting those findings into practical context.
